Thank you to all the families who came to this year's Welcome Event. The sun was shining and it was wonderful to watch the kids play while parents connected on the blacktop.

A big thank you to Principal Neyra and Superintendent Dr. Karamanos for joining us. They shared their excitement for this school year, which includes renovations for the ACS playground. The district secured a grant and the ACS HSA (thanks to the generosity of ACS families) donated funds to the project as well. We’re eager to hear more about the renovation and timeline as details come together.

 

Mrs. Song (PreK-1st grade teacher liaison) introduced herself and spoke of how she and Mrs. Daley (Grades 2-4 teacher liaison) will be on hand to support teachers and coordinate closely with Linda Kim, the ACS HSA Parent Network Officer. We are excited for the new partnership and how it will strengthen the communication between ACS families, teachers, and our school community more broadly.
